Founded in 1976 by Millard Fuller, Habitat for Humanity has built more than 225,000 homes, providing more than 1 million people in more than 3,000 communities around the world with safe, decent, affordable shelter.

Habitat for Humanity is a worldwide, grassroots movement. We have a presence in more than 90 countries, including all 50 of the United States, the District of Columbia, Guam, and Puerto Rico.

Habitat for Humanity International’s headquarters, located in Americus, Georgia, USA, and its administrative headquarters located in Atlanta, Georgia, provide information, training and a variety of other support services to affiliates worldwide.
