Habitat families must meet the following criteria to be eligible for our program:

• Stable employment and credit history
• A great need of housing: the family is currently living in substandard, crowded, or unaffordable housing
• Demonstrated financial stability: at least one earner in the family is able to make a monthly mortgage payment based on 25% of gross monthly income
• Willingness to partner: Habitat for Humanity families contribute 500 hours of labor on the construction of their home or the homes of other families, as well as make a down payment appropriate to their financial situation
